ENABLE Scotland Survey
11 January 2010
ENABLE Scotland are asking all parents of children and young people with additional needs to undertake the following survey.
Please take 10 minutes to complete this important survey about your experiences of The Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004. This Act was introduced to improve the system of providing additional educational support for those children and young people who require it.
The Scottish Government has recently reviewed the Act and has made many changes. But they still need to tell local authorities and schools how to make these changes happen. The 'for Scotland's Disabled Children' (fSDC) coalition has designed this survey for parents and carers of children and young people with additional support needs. We want to know about your experiences of the Additional Support for Learning legislation and how it is working for you. If you wish more information about fSDC, or want to join the coalition, phone Donna Tomlin, fSDC Policy Assistant, on 0131 659 2939 or email her on donna.tomlin@cafamily.org.uk You can access the survey by clicking here.
I'm being respected at Youth Club. Most of the older people respect me and the people who run it want to talk to you and treat you as an equal. They learn new things from us!”
